About Me

Hi I am Rachel and I am a mom of two. I grew up as the oldest with a younger sister and brother. My parents who have been happily married for over twenty-five years have always been there as loving, God-centered, and adventurous role models. I married my husband in 2010 and he was and currently is a part of the Armed Forces. My childhood prepared me for life as a military wife and I am proud to stand next to him as he serves our country. In 2015 we became parents and then again in 2017. My beautiful girls are a constant reminder of God’s grace and love for us.

I am a certified Personal Trainer and have a passion for fitness, especially for Pre-Natal and Post-Natal Fitness. Mom life is busy and everyday is an adventure, but fitting in time for yourself and staying active is necessary for good mental and physical health. It is a part of self-care which should be valued even in the craziness of motherhood and is something I have committed to in my morning routine.

I started this blog because I wanted a way to give my daughters letters to read from me about our adventures, lessons I have learned in life, and any other fun moments from life as their mom. I have always loved to journal, especially my prayers to God, but writing a blog seemed like a better way to make sure my letters to my girls could be a forever keepsake. Along with that, I have the opportunity to share with my readers about my current favorites, fitness tips, food findings, and our family life.
